Abstract: The National Education Policy NEP 2020 marks a transformative shift in Indias educational landscape. One of its progressive features is the emphasis on inclusivity and gender sensitivity. This paper explores the concept of gender neutrality as envisioned by NEP 2020, its implications for inclusive education, and how it addresses structural inequalities. It also critically analyzes the challenges of implementation and provides recommendations for fostering truly gender neutral learning environments in Indian schools and higher education institutions.
