Title of the paper :
Reimagining Education for Generation Beta Addressing the Challenges of a Digital, Globalized, and Sustainable Future
Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to explore the unique characteristics of Generation Beta and analyse the challenges they pose to the current education system. It seeks to identify gaps in traditional educational frameworks and propose innovative reforms to equip this generation for a dynamic and technologically advanced future. Methodology A comprehensive review of recent literature was conducted to examine the evolving educational needs of Generation Beta. The study synthesizes findings from academic journals, policy reports, and case studies to highlight the characteristics of Generation Beta and evaluate the adequacy of current educational practices. Findings The research identifies significant mismatches between traditional education systems and the demands of Generation Beta, such as a lack of personalized learning, inadequate digital integration, and insufficient emphasis on sustainability and ethical awareness. Proposed reforms include Ed Tech integration, STEAM education, hybrid learning models, and enhanced teacher training to address these gaps effectively. Implications The findings underscore the need for systemic changes in education to foster creativity, critical thinking, and adaptability among Generation Beta. Policymakers, educators, and stakeholders are called to collaborate on implementing these reforms to create equitable and future-ready education systems. Originality This paper contributes to the limited research on Generation Beta, offering a forward looking perspective on the challenges and opportunities for education in the context of rapid technological and societal changes. It provides actionable strategies grounded in recent empirical evidence to prepare this emerging cohort for a complex global landscape. This paper is an original work of author and all the sources and references are duly cited.
