Transforming Financial Systems with Block chain Innovations in Financial Inclusion for Unbanked Populations
Abstract:
Purpose This research investigates the transformative potential of block chain technology in advancing financial inclusion. It aims to analyse how block chains features can address barriers in traditional financial systems, particularly in underserved regions. Methodology The research adopts a qualitative approach by reviewing relevant literature, case studies, and industry reports. Key developments in block chain technology are analysed to understand their impact on financial inclusion. Findings The study reveals that block chain has significantly contributed to financial inclusion by providing secure and efficient financial services to unbanked populations. It highlights various innovations, such as decentralized finance De Fi platforms and mobile based blockchain solutions that have improved access to banking services. Implications The findings suggest that block chain technology presents considerable opportunities for fostering financial inclusion. However, challenges such as regulatory barriers, digital literacy gaps, and concerns about environmental impact need to be addressed. The study emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts between governments, financial institutions, and technology providers to maximize the benefits of block-chain. Originality This paper offers a novel perspective on the intersection of block chain technology, financial inclusion. The research contributes to the existing literature by presenting case studies that demonstrate block chains potential to drive inclusive financial growth and improve business practices across various industries.
