Human Capital Performance A Contemporary Analysis
Abstract:
Purpose This research paper explores the critical role of human capital performance in driving organizational success and national economic growth. It aims to investigate recent trends by focusing on key strategies such as digital transformation, skills development, and employee wellbeing. Methodology The research utilizes a qualitative approach by analysing academic literature, industry reports, and case studies relevant with human capital performance across various sectors. It also includes insights from global organizations such as the World Economic Forum, PwC, Deloitte, and McKinsey Company to provide a comprehensive understanding of how businesses enhance employee productivity and engagement. Findings The study identifies that organizations investing in digital transformation and upskilling programs have seen significant improvements in human capital performance. Tools such as AI driven analytics, online learning platforms, and mental health support programs have enhanced employee productivity, job satisfaction, and retention rates. Additionally, the research finds that employee engagement and wellbeing are essential factors influencing human capital outcomes, with organizations focusing on inclusive and flexible work environments. Implications The study emphasizes the need for organizations to adopt continuous learning, digital transformation, and mental health initiatives to enhance human capital performance. Policymakers should address skills gaps through education programs. Future trends include personalized learning, AI driven talent management, and hybrid work models, while addressing digital divides and cybersecurity remains essential. Originality This paper provides a novel perspective on human capital performance by focusing on developments. It offers unique insights into how organizations can leverage digital transformation and employee-centric approaches to improve workforce productivity and wellbeing.
