Title of the paper :
Economic and Social Disparities in Anjum Hasans Neti Neti
Abstract:
Anjum Hasans Neti Neti uses sociological analysis, studies on the impact of colonialism, and research on marginalized groups to explore social and economic inequality in Indian society. The stories highlight variations in social class, gender, ethnicity, and urban rural divides, and the study includes insights from contemporary urban thinkers like Pierre Bourdieu and Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak. The stories in the novel analyze power dynamics and authority in modern Indian society. Through the characters experiences, the novel highlights the social, political, and economic fabric of the country. Garden City focuses on resource and opportunity gaps, while Hot Winter Day highlights social injustices as the first piece. Guru delves into personal transformation, whereas Lovesick examines societal norms. This book provides a detailed analysis of the countrys political, social, and economic structure.
