Title of the paper :
Pᾱṇinian Grammar and the Sustainability of Sanskrit: A Structural Analysis
Abstract:
The Sanskrit language has a well organized system of rules and structures that regulates linguistic expression. Grammar is an essential component of every language without a systematic grammar, a language cannot exist. It functions as an important tool for preserving and transmitting knowledge. This paper argues that grammar is not merely a structural feature of Sanskrit but the essential mechanism through which the language sustains itself across generations. In Sanskrit, grammar plays a crucial role in determining the proper use and structure of words and sentences and these grammatical principles ensure clarity, accuracy, and precision in communication. Over the centuries, Sanskrit grammar has been carefully studied, analyzed and refined by scholars, leading to the development of various grammatical traditions. Even today, the study of Sanskrit grammar remains a significant area of research for linguists and scholars interested in the linguistic, cultural, and intellectual heritage. This paper explores the importance of grammar in the Sustainability of the Sanskrit language.
