Title of the paper :
Universal Patterns of Migration: From Abraham to the Modern Migrant
Abstract:
This paper explores universal patterns of migration by examining examples from the Bible, history, and literature. Using the journeys of Abraham, the Israelites, the Volga Germans, and modern migrants alongside works like The Grapes of Wrath, Americanah, and The Namesake, the study identifies three recurring themes. First, migrants often face conflicts within their own communities. Second, the success of migration depends on proper guidance, as misguided decisions can lead to danger and instability. Third, migration may begin with prosperity but can later turn into hardship when circumstances change. These patterns show that migration is not only a physical journey but also an emotional and spiritual experience shaped by hope, struggle, and the search for belonging.
