Title of the paper :
Cultural Migration from Korea to Kerala: Impacts of Dressing Style Influence on Teenagers of Kerala
Abstract:
This study examines the growing influence of the Korean Wave Hallyu on the skincare and fashion practices of teenagers in Kerala. Drawing on recent Kerala focused studies, media reports, and national level research, the paper explores how digital platforms, K pop fandom, and Korean beauty ideals shape adolescents consumer behavior and identity formation. Findings indicate strong adoption of Korean skincare routines particularly the glass skin trend and increasing preference for Korean inspired fashion such as oversized silhouettes and gender fluid styles. The study also addresses concerns related to beauty standards, product misuse, and cultural implications for Keralas youth.
