Title of the paper :
Integrating Corporate Environmental Responsibility with Green Accounting: A Pathway to Sustainable Corporate Performance
Abstract:
The growing global concern over environmental degradation and climate change has transformed the traditional definition of corporate success. Modern organizations are now expected to balance profitability with environmental and social responsibility. This research paper explores the integration of Corporate Environmental Responsibility CER and Green Accounting as a strategic pathway toward achieving sustainable corporate performance. CER reflects a companys ethical obligation to minimize environmental harm through pollution control, waste management, renewable energy adoption, and sustainable business operations. In contrast, Green Accounting provides a structured and quantitative framework for measuring and reporting environmental costs and benefits, thereby linking ecological outcomes with financial performance. The study examines how combining these two approaches enhances transparency, builds stakeholder trust, and supports long term profitability while identifying key challenges such as limited awareness, high implementation costs, and lack of standardization. Overall, the paper emphasizes that integrating CER with Green Accounting fosters both economic growth and ecological sustainability, paving the way for responsible and resilient corporate development.
