Title of the paper :
Values of the Humanities in the Technological World
Abstract:
Hyper textuality also known as cybernetics, is the main factor impacting the majority of global activities in the twenty first century. This means that the digital environment has evolved into an effective arbiter through a variety of distinctions within life itself. It argues that the hypertextual cybernetic realm is our eras dominant paradigm. We have already entered the era where human intelligence is replicated by machines through Artificial Intelligence AI. This tech saturated environment also has a profound effect on different ways of thinking, leading to a new approach to discussing all stories that bear the imprint of technology. We are not immune to the ubiquitous power, not even in the humanities. This paper investigates the emergence of the digital humanities as a novel discipline and goes on to say that it has changed in important manners, both subtly and markedly, not only how education and research are conducted within the academy, but that mediation is slowly shaping what we today understand to be research influencing epistemologies and ontologies undergirding research programmes.
