AI Based Applications and Their Effectiveness in Enhancing EFL Learners Writing Ability
Abstract:
The growing utilization of artificial intelligence AI in education presents new chances to enhance English language writing proficiency. However, limited research has examined the impact of AI driven writing tools on EFL learners writing abilities. This study aims to investigate the effects of AI technologies, including Wordtune, Grammarly, and Quillbot, on academic writing among EFL students and examines how these tools might be intentionally included into structured writing teaching. AI driven web applications are designed to aid EFL learners in reducing the cognitive obstacles encountered during English written content composition. There has been a lot of research and talk about Automated Writing Evaluation AWE technologies and older ones like spell check and grammar check. However, not many studies have tried to use AI based tools as learning tools to improve the writing skills. The purpose of this study was to examine how AI affected English writing among EFL students. According to preliminary findings, AI tools could be beneficial for English language learners who require more structured assistance than word processors.
