Name of Author :

Title of the paper :
Neue Welt offen: Opening New Avenues through German Language Acquisition for Vernacular Medium Students in India
Abstract:
This paper attempts to understand multi layered scopes for the vernacular medium students, who acquire German as a foreign language. This pedagogical shift enhances multilingual capability, improvement of mental agility, and democratisation of access to world wide language capital. It further explains different advantages such as cognitive and linguistic development, widened job prospects and career development and culturally rooted specific approaches among the vernacular students. The present research also discusses significance of inclusion of German language in curriculum designing for National Education Policy frameworks NEP 2020 and international models e.g. GoetheInstitutes German in 1000 Schools initiative. Through this multidimensional study, the paper aims to contribute towards comprehensive foreign language education, offering insights that are pedagogically sound, culturally delicate, and advantageously aligned with Indias educational policies.
