Psychological Memory Trauma: Exploring the relationship of Emotional divergence and latitude longing in Khaled Hosseinis And the Mountains Echoed
Abstract:
Retention of memories associated with emotions, whether positive and negative is hardwired into our brains. Strong emotional attachment to the memories makes far more difficult to forget. The study concentrated on the isolation of the departed relationship and loneliness of leaving their Afghan nation and cultures. They suffer from surviving in other locations, even when they wish they couldnt go back. Their terrible life is shaped by their displaced memories and the trauma of repeatedly seeing of their past explained by Cathy Caruth. The history of Afghanistan vividly suffered war after war, its triumphs and setbacks, and the domesticated pain which could highlighted the psychological agony in Khaled Hosseinis text. His text always includes turmoil of Afghan and in And the Mountains Echoed he concerned about the mental health suffering. Their psychological memory of their dislocation adds to the formation of emotional imbalance, and their subconscious memory leads them to illumining happiness and sadness at a time. Abdullah undergone his trauma from childhood to his adulthood days which later make him a dementia patient. Paris emotional longing is evident as she felt the absence of something or someone fundamental of her own existence until her destiny brings to met her brother. Uncle Nabi stands as a witness for Afghan ethnic community and dies as cultural preservationist. Their psychological pain stems from their deep desire for their authentic latitude and their sunken consciousnesss longing for the emotion piece remain as missing in their ethnic community.
