Title of the paper : Navadurga in Literary Studies: A Study of Soft Skills and Divinity

Abstract: In Hindu tradition, the idea of Navadurga which refers to the nine holy incarnations of Goddess Durga has profound spiritual and symbolic significance. Each form has unique traits that connect with universal human values and soft skills necessary for both personal and professional life, such as strength, discipline, courage, creativity, nurturing, and wisdom. These heavenly manifestations provide a comprehensive framework for examining character development and ethical characteristics, from the anchoring resilience of Shailaputri to the wisdom and fulfilment embodied by Siddhidatri. This study examines how English literature interprets Navadurgas qualities, emphasizing how mythological archetypes are adapted to embody moral awareness, leadership, emotional intelligence, and resilience. The study shows how legendary narratives might influence human behavior and interpersonal efficiency by equating divine attributes with modern soft skills. The interdisciplinary studies that connect mythology, literature, and human development benefit from this cross cultural literary viewpoint.
