Abstract:
Military brats, the unsung heroes of families in service, navigate a world marked by frequent relocations and ever changing environments. Growing up in the shadow of duty, these children sacrifice the comfort of a permanent home, learning to adapt and thrive despite the challenges. Their quiet resilience and struggles reflects the values of discipline, patriotism and adaptability instilled by their parents careers in service to the nation. The aim of this article is to celebrate the unique culture of military kids, examining their struggles and strengths while highlighting the emotional, social and psychological impacts of their upbringing. Through a detailed single case study, the article explores how military children develop independence, resilience and a global perspective amidst the tussle. It also places emphasis, the collective responsibility of the nation to support these children, ensuring they receive the care and recognition they deserve. By honoring their sacrifices, the article aims for a greater understanding and compassion toward the families who give so much in service to the country.
