Agribusiness in the Make in India Era Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract:
Agribusiness is an important part of India’s economy, providing jobs, supporting rural development, and ensuring food security. However, the sector faces many challenges, such as poor infrastructure, changing market conditions, and outdated farming practices. Agribusiness, as a sector, is all the different aspects of raising agricultural products as an integrated system. Trading farm goods is among the oldest human undertakings, but advances in the last century have made it a high tech industry. Farmers raise animals and harvest fruits and vegetables with the help of sophisticated harvesting techniques. This paper looks at the challenges and opportunities in managing agribusiness in India, focusing on the Make in India initiative, which aims to boost local manufacturing and economic growth. The study also focusing on how Government schemes, and regulations have affected the agribusiness sector, and whether they have helped or hindered growth and innovation. It also looks at how global trade and globalization have created both opportunities and challenges for Indian agribusinesses. The paper also aims to provide key Association between Agribusiness Development and make in India campaign which leads to Sustainable Development of Rural India.
