Title of the paper :
The Child Animal Bond and the Ethical Functions of Anthropomorphic Childrens Literature
Abstract:
Anthropomorphism has been a constant and enduring element of childrens media for the past 100 years. This tradition began with Kenneth Grahames The Wind in the Willows, which serves as a prime example of how anthropomorphism in childrens literature is used to remove age, gender, and race from a work. My task is to examine how The Wind in the Willows and the genre of anthropomorphic childrens literature manage to convey difficult moral and ideological ideas to a young readership. I ll also look into how childrens special and dynamic relationship with animals, along with how frequently they tend to consume that media, contribute to the success of the translation of these themes.
