AI and its Evolutionary Impact on Teaching and Research through the lens of Life 3.0
Abstract:
The advent of AI has been a paradigm shift in all aspects of human transactions. Cardinal components of social interactions like education, medicine, logistics, marketing, banking, insurance all these domains have been influenced and impacted by AI. In its initial stage, AI was viewed sceptically. However, it is a tool capable of shaping a better future for humanity. The present paper focuses on the parallel between cultural and theoretical stages of life and the evolution of AI. The paper analyses Life 3.02017 by Max Tegmark, a visionary text positing the various possibilities of life, teaching and research in the wake of the progress of AI.
