Abstract: We live in a world where literature is no longer confined to the printed page. The advent of digital technology has revolutionized the way we read, write, and interpret texts. From ebooks to AI generated poetry, the terrain of literature in the digital age is marked by innovation, disruption, and democratization. As an English professor engaging with contemporary literary shifts, I find it necessary to evaluate the consequences and potentials of this transformation. How does digital technology reshape our understanding of literary texts Who are the new readers, and what roles do they play What becomes of authorship in an age of digital collaboration and algorithmic content These questions lie at the heart of the digital literary discourse.
